Saw a Tesla S on the road yesterday

Drove behind one of these yesterday in Saffron Walden and had to look up what on Earth it was when I got home.

Pretty good looking and made me look twice at it, and really didn't even know they were even on sale.

Cool story etc.

I saw one in Torquay a few weeks ago with the plate: TE55SLA. I did post at the time... I thought it was a Jag to be honest from behind even though I was looking/wondering about the plate!

I saw several in NY state and CT in May and am hoping they'll be affordable 2nd hand in 5 years as I really like the look, idea etc.

Just seen one in Newcastle, just off the A1. That was white too so maybe there's only one in the country..... Thought it looked very nice indeed.

How long before someone points out that they do 600 miles per day and live in a 15th floor flat with no parking, so electric cars are doomed

Personally I love the Tesla and will buy one as soon as they hit my price range.

A good looking 7 seat car, with 400bhp and cheap running costs....whats not to like

It's enormous.

Range is still very poor.

It's heavy as hell.

It doesn't have an engine.

Literally the only reason to prefer this to a V8 estate is being an Eco warrior. It is in all other respects the same or worse than any powerful estate on the market.
