Car with missing exhaust section.

Hello, The centre section of my exhaust has fallen off (Everything between the cat and the back box).

A part from sounding really stupid and loud and pissing my neighbors off and the slight chance of killing my self with gasses entering the cabin.

Are there any downsides to this?

I.e increased fuel consumption or loss of power?

I assume this is something reasonably anonymous/respectable looking? In which case it does allow you to pull up next to a chavvy hatchback full of yoofs when there's a police car in the lane on the other side of them, and watch the police give them the look of death as you blip it up nice and loud.

Its 1 owner from new 40k~ nissan primera from 1992.

So yeah it looks tidy and stock. Its just very old, not very fast and sounds ridiculous.

You'd need to fix it for the MOT anyway, and the weather's ok for working outside on cars right now, so I'd just spend the £50 or whatever for an Ebay centre box and slap it in.
