De Rosa full carbon R848 £1200

De Rosa (2013) in costco R848 full carbon for £1200 (includes vat)

Any thoughts on if this is great for the price?

Was tempted by the 30% halfords (Boardman) but think offer may be over now

Which groupset does it comes with? It's a gorgeous looking bike certainly!

If it's 105 I'd say it's a good buy, paid £100 more for my 105 equipped Giant.

It's a half decent spec, but the price itself isn't especially amazing, SRP is only £1,400.

You could probably find a better deal for a full 105 bike if you look for a 2013 model somewhere.

That isn't full 105 as has Tigra chainset and brakes, personally for £1200 I would be looking for a better deal elsewhere.

Ok ta. Not a bad-looking bike though, hadn't really considered a De Rosa. Was looking at Bianchi but worth looking out for.

Not really. The shifters are 105, but if memory serves the rest is Sora and Tiagra. I agree that its a nice looking bike though

Seems there's a large premium on the brand name however.
At that price point there's a lot of competition, and a lot of cheaper bikes with a margin for upgrades to get to the same money.
