Sub Editing Manager/Designer ??

Thought i'd ask the PH collective on behalf of my wife....currently she works in a fairly large regional newspaper, as with all papers the sales are suffering so she's looking for a career move.

Now her problem is she's been out of the loop job's wise for 14 years so isn't sure where to look/opportunities etc...

Her experience is Quark/QScribe/Televisual, editing/design etc etc...

Has anyone any ideas please?
