Warranty expiring. Service at main agent?

The warranty on my car - KIA - runs out at the end of September which is also when the service and MOT is due.

I was wondering if there is any point getting this service done at the main agent as, other than the stamp in the book, it is then no longer under warranty which makes it a bit pointless?

Unless they do a more thorough check in an attempt to pick anything up before it goes out of warranty and/or you might get you a bit more goodwill should anything expensive break after that point I cant see any advantage in this?

Can't you get it done a couple of weeks before to make sure anything that needs fixing gets done before the warranty expires?

Yes, that was the plan as I get the MOT done before the MOT expiry date anyway just in case anything needs fixing - nothing so far - then its serviced afterwards so I guess that answers the question then.
