......to the Aston Martin Track afternoon and evening on 11th August at Brands Hatch organised by Aston martin? Tickets all allocated now so if you are not there, I will take some pics to post.
Looking forward to the BBQ too. Factory drivers in attendance for coaching.............but they will probably not listen to advice anyway!! he he.

Well, the track day went very well with around 30 participants invited by Aston Martin with everything from an old V8 Vantage to a new 14 plate V12VS and a couple of the new Vanquishes.
Following a nightmare journey around the M25 accident at Clacket lane, we were greeted with a lovely bright sunny and dry track. So, helmets at the ready, we queued for the warm-up "Ducks and Drakes" tutorial on the best racing line.
So, in good humour and with the roof down, my daughter took my first ever "selfie".
It was then out onto the track to test the effectiveness of my new suspension mods and engine tuning. Here is a 12 minute HD video of the result. Some interesting V12VS shots in the last few minutes.

The track then got wet as the heavens opened up so the Aston Martin test drivers tested my car on a damp circuit. They did say they would have really liked to test it in the dry to its fullest but still gave me a fine tuning tip.
