If you bought her a MX5 you didn't need to ask.... you did get a MX5 right?

Depends what you got for her really. I once found a Mitsubishi starrion with heavily corroded brake lines that was ideal for my mother in law. If she'd taken my advice I wouldn't be here admitting it.

My friend went to Australia and bought his in laws a boomerang with a blade at each end.

His life is much less stressful now

Had to be auto and convertible..so ended up with an Audi A3. My initial suggestion of an R8 fell on deaf ears
