Buying a car with 200K +

Looking for thoughts on buying a cheap diesel car.

Price means either something older with less miles, or a bit newer with high miles.

Not looking to keep it long term, so I'm willing to take a gamble on a high miler.

Would you be mad thinking about buying something from the VAG group with over 200K ?

If you only want it for the short term it'll be fine , best vag engine would probably be 1.9 tdi , try a PD130 out!

I would have thought you'd have pretty much had the run of the shop if you had that much.

I certainly wouldn't be buying a "cheap diesel", but fair enough, I guess some folk like to run under the radar.

Bought my last V70 with 272k on the clock.
I killed it at 345k due to not servicing it !
