Is there a reliable web site from where I can down load drivers.

I’ve been given an old PC (P3 700MHz) but that’s it, no software. I’ve searched on the net for some drivers, but with very little success, nearly always getting driverguide.com but there links are either out of date or the stuff just doesn’t work.

Cheers,

Simon.

Depends what hardware and what software.

If its that old windows 2000 and XP should have all the drivers you need, as may 98 and winME.

For the rest find out hwat chipset the motherboard. graphics card, modem etc is, as you wont find a driver package around unless its well supported by the maker and you can dl the whole lot.

If you do a search at Download.com theres software there that'll hel pyou identify exact components etc. Otherwise I'd just bung a copy of 2000 on there.
