Hi chaps, I've got the factory settings for the geo set up.
I've got access to a flat floor and a Supertracker laser alighnment equipment, its not the best kit but I've had it calerbrated so should be accurate.
Has anyone tried to tweak the settings?
Camber and toe in/out positions I'm interested in.
I'm going to set it to factory first, see how it feels then maybe add some camber.
I'd like to try rear toe, but feel I'd need a race track to be safe messing about with it!
Any thoughts/ ideas/ experiences of geo changes would be very interesting to read. Cheers Alun

Alun, Mat S did mine, but he did have to strip the wishbones out to take the adjusters apart, then put everything back together before doing the geo.... The adjuster components were seized... just a word of warning before you get all set up then nothing moves....
Chilli means the rear toe adjusters, BTW.FWIW, mine was set up by Mat, and handles beautifully.
As far as I am aware it is set standard, plus one degree of front camber so that the front tyres are evenly heated across the tread for best track day grip.
I will see if I can find the print out from the last time he set it.
Well if I'm honest Richard I was thinking of posting after I'd freed up the back end?!!! But just couldn't wait to see what people thought. I'm kind of sure the rear adjusters will be siezed.
I've had a crash lesson in using the equipment, I reckon my rear end settings are spot on ( factory ) so I want to use my car as a known quantity and play with the equipment first. I've got digital camber adjustment so want to get mine spot on ( factory ) then drive it a wk or so then do it again with a more aggressive set up, see how it's acts?!!!

That would be fantastic Anthony, I've got a good idea of what's a nice balance and it's bound to be pretty close( no drastic changes) where there's an action there's a reaction.
I've got some plates and disks and I could use them at a track, say in a garage, very very interesting.
I'm also sure the cars close to bang on with factory settings so they'll be little straying away, yeah right!!!!

No worries boys, it's sunny outside and I'm in the garage 6 days a week so I just can't be bothered to do it today really.
I've been considering the settings and to be honest it's only track settings I want to play with,,,,,,, so I need a track!??!!
So I also need loads a money and I'm still only just keeping my head above water so I should concentrate on polishing her instead. lol lol lol.
I'll just stay late one night this wk to set it to Factory, errr I set my front camber with a spirit level about to months ago?!!??? Tyres are wearing fine and she goes in a dead straight line so I've been rather proud of it. Doh.
It'll be interesting to see how accurate my level is!????!!!
It's also more an exercise in using the equipment as I'm so busy and can't concentrate on it during the day.
Part of the experiment is to set the ride height so all wishbones are level regardless of the outrigger position, do the geo then drive. I also have corner weights so if that doesn't work I can easily get a nice balance with the scales first
I almost want the car to show drastic changes to cement what I think will work,,,,, or not.
It's something Ive always wanted to do, part of my original excitement about the cars was the ability to change the settings.
It's the little things like adding some washers to lower my steering wheel a tad, perfecta.

Set up for track/race. Mat reckoned this is a bit more aggressive than he would usually recommend for road use but it suits me. Nitron Racing Reds allround with 325lbs springs on rear & 400lbs up front. If I remember correctly the ride height, once adjusted & measured from the chassis (not the outriggers) is around 130mm front, 145mm rear. Hope this helps.

Hi chaps, I've had a family issue so haven't been able to play with the geo as yet but looking at Richards set up via Matt and after speaking with Matt in the past that's what I was hoping to see, taking some of the rear toe out is what I'm thinking.
I'd add more front camber but as I drive pretty steady on the roads it's a bit pointless.
I've also been involved in re building a Landie all this wk so I just haven't had the time.
