if you don't strip back to bare metal, you will get sinkage marks, and will require regular machine polishing to remove.
Mine had been repainted 3 times, and suffered badly from this.

Hi Rick

By the time you are finished with your car it will be like new
What colour are you thinking of?

Panelcraft Swindon repainted my early Diablo some years ago.
Did a good job at a sensible price; some quote silly money.
Still looks lovely which is the real test.

Washington coachworks. http://www.washingtoncoachworks.co.uk

They work on exotic stuff and believe they're currently working on Harry Metclafe's Countach.

I'm not affiliated with them, but would take my Aston to them if needed.

Steven Shore at Shorade in Cannock, can't recommend them highly enough, did some phenomenal 3-layer work for me while I was with Lambo.

The bodyshop is IMMACULATE, 'you can eat your dinner off the floor' etc. Very, very, very good.

Sl restoration in crawley is your best bet. Best bodyshop in the country and their eye for detail is second to none.

That was the colour Panelcraft did for me.
The only bit of the car that they didn't have to do were the wing mirrors and they got an excellent match - can't see the join.
