I have heard that 2003 and after Tuscans have improved engine parts,is this true?
If so will the engine not require a rebuild then?

Yes and no...

They did get better with time, but many still needed rebuilds.

There's quite a few of the very last cars 2005/6 that haven't needed rebuilds. Your guess is as good as mine as to the likelihood of them going pop.

If you're looking to buy, just get one that's had a str8six or tvr power rebuild and you're good to go.

My 2004 is going strong at 54k, no oil consumption, good pressure. There are also quite a few T350's and Sags from that period with sky high miles and no rebuild. I would say the build to the correct spec does work.

you are talking 4 years into the engines production run, if they were not getting better by then, they may as pack up, build houses on the site and sell the brand to Baba Yaga

I concur. I own a 3.6li July 2003 which needed a rebuild after 10k miles and less than 2 yrs old. It was done at the TVR factory in 2005. It was also noteworthy that at the precise time mine was in getting diagnosed by Racing Green as needing a rebuild that another 3.6li came in, with the same problem, and apparently only 3 serial numbers away from my own.
