CIM recall - Vauxhall Astra

Posted similar on VX thread but it seems a bit quiet on there.
Back in 2011 my car was part of a recall for the CIM module which could be faulty. One symptom could be the horn not working when the lights are on. My car never had this issue but was taken in for modification.
Three years on my car has now developed this very fault! Should I expect that Vauxhall fix this free?
I've spoken with the local dealer who will check the car but charge me, and reimburse me if Vauxhall agree to fix the fault free. (Due to work I need the car during the week but can let them check it on Saturday. This is why they will examine the car then and contact Vauxhall on the Monday with their findings).
I would welcome anyone's thoughts on the above!
