Rattly clang started coming from under the bonnet today..

..the service bonnet catch had come off =)

Just wish I was better at pushing the damn main bonnet back into the catches, no matter the distance/angle I put them at no dice! - I swear they hate me!

You mean the catches near the windscreen? If so, they can be adjusted by screwing/unscrewing them. If they're a couple of screws out, then it's a nightmare trying to lock the bonnet in place.

yeah those are the ones - I've tried at lots of different positions but no luck so far =/
