Up before the ubiquitous Monza Caravan had a chance to ruin the route...

Greasy roads and sheep everywhere ....wouldn't have it any other way wink

Lovely clap
Did you record that with a GoPro? The microphone is really good!

Nice one. Recognise some of the roads. Do you have a separate microphone?

Separate mic, pinned on rear parcel shelf, with lead to camera.
Very sensitive.
The odd buffeting you hear is actually caused by the GoPro mounted on the outside of the car and wind noise transferred into cabin.
Apologies for the slightly tame driving, had just rained, very narrow in places, sheep everywhere and getting used to the car.
Never thought I'd say this, didn't miss the stick at all. Staggering.

I have used the GoPro suction mount on the outside without any problems.

Not in your league as far as driving skills, respect and general popularity are concerned.
Just really pleased and indeed shocked that someone with your vast experience, knowledge and esteem actually responded to my lowly efforts with such insight and maturity.
If you could PM me where I'm going wrong, it would be much appreciated.

lol, just saying the main reason I sold my GT3 was I could not get it up the revs that easy on UK roads,

this new GT3 revs to what, 9k ? but the vid to me just looks frustrating changing gear at 4k......

I drove a R8 V10 plus yesterday for quite a while and that is a uber fast sorted car now, I thought, I will never get to use this performance, ever !!!

these cars are awesome tools and the 991 GT3 looks the business, but imo it's not that accessible to use in real life.

I love the 991 GT3, just looks alone has me... and those wheels are stunning.

But driving the R8 V10 plus put me off owning a car which such high performance.
And the memory of just being frustrated with my GT3 owner ship just all came flooding back.

these cars are too much for the road, I would be in court more times than Rolf Harris.

even on my test drive it was hitting ***mph and not even being touched.

are todays high performance cars just to fast to use now ?

Depends where you live IMO.....massively.
At least with the GT3 you feel you're in a sports car. The V12V was a lead weight.
Mid/ West Wales has a huge range of roads, and if up early then nobody but you there.
If I lived anywhere else, then I would question the point of purchasing this type of car unless tracking regularly. That's just me though.

Perhaps , but its true of nearly any car north of a decent hot hatch in the crowded parts of our little island. Unless you are prepared (As some of us are) to get up early and/or head to roads like the one in the OP
