Hey all, need a picture of the back end of the diff prior to taking all the bells and whistles off it. Does anyone have one or maybe could take a picture of their own for me.

cheers

What do you mean back end and prior to taking bells and whistles off? I have a number of pics of my diff in various states. Do you want a pic in place or out the car and a pic with the rear plate on or off?

I'm trying to find out where one of the tiny little brackets attaches, if you have a pic that shows it i would be most grateful mate.

Yes, I know what you mean now (I think). There should be three brackets in total. Two little ones that go under some of the cover plate bots either side and the larger bracket for the speed sensor. I will dig out a pic and post one up.

Here you go, these are the pics I took of mine before refurb to make sure I put them back on right:

It is worth noting that Tim has the Speedo Sensor mounted on the passenger side, but as standard they are mounted on the drivers side. However this is definitely the right thing to do, as all later TVRs have the sensor mounted passenger side as there is less run-out in the diff on that side. Joolz alerted me to this some time ago, for which I am very grateful.

My speedo sensor is on the passenger side too. Not sure if it was like that from the factory but it doesn't look like my sensor had ever been changed. Maybe an early car thing?

laugh - yes...just as I planned...cough...I didn't mount it the wrong side by accident then couldn't be arsed to move it....on no - I was thinking about run out and later Cerbs...honestly!!!

Not so much later Cerbs, as later TVRs, here's a Tuscan to illustrate
