Idle thoughts about a 4 seat commercial pick up or similar

Currently I swap my daily drives between a Jaguar X350, and an old Jeep Cherokee (Both on LPG). I am self-employed via my own LTD company, and is would be advantageous tax wise, and permit parking wise in some of my work places, to swap the old Jeep for a newer commercial vehicle.


So, I don't particulary want or need a van, I need something good on the Motorway, and that I can drive into central London without the LEZ charge. Would be used, up to 10k max (inc VAT), but very happy to pay less. I don't really care about buying a high mileage car. Rear seats, or at least 3 across bench seats would be really useful. Load space needs to be big enough for a double bass !

I was originally looking at Disco commercials, even Freelander commercials, but suddenly realised there is a whole host of Japanese etc stuff I know nothing about....Mitsubishi L200, Navara etc

Anyone got a view ?

Did this research myself, re cabbed vehicles.
Money no object, then a VW Amorak.
Money tight then a Toyota.
