Estoril Wheel Caps

The TVR wheel caps are starting to loose their lacquer, on removing the centre plastic hub I thought it would be a simple press out of the old cap and pop a new one in.

Wrong.

Am I right in thinking you can gently prise them out with something or will they just splinter ?

I put a flat screwdriver underneath the plasticky dome part and just lifted it off. The 'TVR' black and silver logo remained on the plastic trim underneath so I just stuck a new badge over the old one that now had a flat surface.

I got replacements from Clever Trevor but readily available on Ebay.
