Pregnancy portraits, any tips?!
Discussion
As above really, a friend had asked me if I would do some portraits of her and her 18 month old son now she is coming towards the end of her pregnancy. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what shots would work and what wouldn't? I have lighting but don't have a white screen. what could be used as a cheap option?

I'm not sure if I read that right, but is it post preg with an 18 month old, or still preg and bump?
If latter, try a window. Traditional hi-key blown background shots with a bump, they're generally hard to do well. Better to let the light shape around curves from one direction and fill from another, polyboard/reflector/flash, whatever. You'll get more definition that way.
Mother and son - take them out somewhere and use the light available, it's easier to get something usable than trying to get an 18 month old to sit still and force a smile, snot's quite hard to clone
