Just seen a Eurofighter apparently bringing a Qatar Airbus into Manchester.

Wasn't having a pop, I reside in Qatar and its one of the least likely airlines to have either a terrorist issue or a faulty plane issue the fleet is new and the Airline is not a target.

I work about half a mile from the end of the runway, and just off to the side of the centre line, nothing has come in since, and under normal circumstances, there would be something coming in every couple of mins.

All areas in the airport with a view of the outdoor areas have been evacuated. Aviation viewing park evacuated and closed.

yeah but given the amount of funding the Qataris give and shelter they give as well as letting the organisations do their banking there they'd never choose to use one of their jets when BA and other airlines could be used.

If they did successfully blow up a QA jet they'd be shooting themselves in the foot royally. Same goes for the way they'd be treated in the Emirates...
