WiFLi on the cheap for Shimano users

So SRAM make a lot of noise about their WiFLi kit for climbers and I fancied a similar setup on my Shimano Claris/2300 mix equipped road bike. It's now a spare bike for pottering around, and gets used by visitors who are often not seasoned cyclists and I wanted a more climb-friendly ratio than the 34-25 which it came with.

So, a quick look on Wiggle came up with this:

Sora rear mech, med cage

All for about £25 and I have a bike which can ride up a vertical wall. It took a few mins to fit and set up, the only other change was to raise the front mech a couple of mm so it didn't rub when the chain was on the rear 30T cog. It makes a huge difference, and is so much easier to spin your way up a big hill now.
