Really capable pilot but I wouldn't want to be anywhere near there if something went wrong - zero room for manoeuvre for the pilot or spectators!

Back in the day and during the finals of the Middlesex Rugby 7's at Twickenham the Army provided a display where a Westland Whirlwind Helicopter flew over the pitch and the soldiers abseiled down to a display arena.

At this time the Twickenham ground had massive stands on all four sides with gaps at each corner , the Helicopter was hovering only a few feet off the ground well below the top of the stands, in fact if you were in one of the higher tiers you looked down onto the thing !

We always thought what would happen if a wind gust caught it ......
