I've often wondered how long it'd be before we had lane control assist. I've had active cruise control in many cars I've driven (particularly work prototypes) and it's a great feature...but this is something else.

My barge has this, way back from 2007. I like it, particularly on an empty motorway. Makes the journey a fiddle. What's not to like.

I've seen that on the Lexus but it cuts off if you let go of the steering, I'd love to see you climb in the back and let your LS do the driving

how sharp a corner can it deal with? Could you send it out on a track?

That's why a lot of newer cars have occupancy sensor mats in the driver's seat now, instead of just the passenger seat.

BMW did do it, it was on Top Gear IIRC.
