I'm will be looking for an m3 in a couple of months and this caught my eye. If i was in the position I'm sure I'd buy it, its white , edc, dct and looks like it has a healthy list of option and even a couple of months warranty!

Why has it not sold ? It seems to be very well priced and in good condition..interior pics are on auto trader.

Any ideas? Are people waiting for them to take a bigger drop once the m4 starts becoming more common?

At a dealer this would be gone. A lot of people just will not buy privately, and out of whats left another big chunk need finance or trade in.

Are they a bad thing, can be out to standard easily no?

Seriously tempted by this!

Nah, looking at his history on m3cutters he has removed quite a few mods from it, maybe he cant be bothered to remove the spacers.

Its got base sound system which is crap for a 40k+ car... You would be surprised how many people insist on the upgraded sound system.. I have had a base system and a professional on an E92 and would not buy one with the base system.. Sounds petty but crap audio really annoys after a while if car is a daily drive, scan m3 cutters wanted ads for proof of this.

Totally overpriced at £25k

I've had 2 m3s, and both sold quickly as I was aware of the real market value...lots of owners are emotionally attached to their cars and over value them....

On thing to consider is that a 2008 car will have the CCC generation iDrive. This system feels ancient and when I was buying, I made sure I went for a car with the vastly improved CIC iDrive - think this came in mid 2009. Easy to spot from ad pics - the controller will have multiple buttons.

Just sold my 2010 coupe with similar spec EDC, DCT, etc. Had upgrade audio and was an LC1 (later I drive)
done 41,000 received £25,200 for it. I thought that was a fair price tbh.
This car is overpriced and i don't think it will sell at that money to be honest..

Too dear. £20k is more like it for a private sale.

I sold my old E92 when it was 18 months old for around £32k (trade). S/he isn't going to get near £25k for a 5 year old one... If only...

Hmm I thought it was well valued apparently its not selling and the price has dropped. There seem to be quite a few e90 m3 not selling at the moment, i wonder if sellers expecting too much. This has sort of encouraged me to wait a bit as it seems the price is exceeding the demand at present.
