Nice I've just bought one in white to get something a bit more everyday while traveling back and forth to my girlfriends house (used to have a clio 200)

Was torn between this, Fiesta ST, Megane RS and RCZ but megane and RCZ are too big for the garage, and wanted sommet a bit different to the Fiesta, mine is in white

You doing anything to it?

The lease is through the wife's salary sacrifice scheme, so it includes tax, servicing, breakdown, tyres and insurance so no worries as all is covered. Of course that means no upgrades and making sure you keep in good order.

I also looked at the Fiesta, but the centre console just put me off. I also had DS3 through the same scheme, that performed faultlessly.

The wife has got a company car, a new Mazda 6 175bhp 2.2 diesel so I can get the little red rocket.

Interested in one of these myself. See a lot of reports that the chunky steering wheel partially obscures the speedometer for some people, have you encountered this problem yourself?

That's what I thought. I don't particularly like a low driving position and when sat exactly where I'd be in one of these, the steering wheel was right in the way!

I fancy a shot of one though, see how it compare to an ST, any insight OP?

Well I've driven all three, the new Clio 200 (i found impressive) The new ST which i found a tad boring at the time although i had just come from an Elise so was a little unfair, I suspect it would be the same or a touch better from what others have said than the GTi although it seems a close call. The interior on the GTi won me over and the fact a hardcore edition with an LSD is on its way too

oh and to add to that, i sit as low as possible and the (awesome looking) wheel doesn't obscure the (also awesome looking) dials

I was fortunate enough to drive the new 208GTi around the Alpine track at Millbrook and then on the bowl. I was far more impressed than I expected to be. Thought it was great.

I sat in one of these a while back - nice interior but 6 foot 3 here and wheel obstructed my view of the speedo.

With the steering wheel, yes it takes a little getting used to and with the set up. But I have after a little trail and error have got a good set up, so I can see the centre info screen, rev counter and speedo. Mind you I'm only 5 foot 7 3/4 tall.

Just being gentle on the throttle etc. until I have few more miles on the clock, but have to say it seems very well put together and drives and rides well.

My mate's got one of these in white. Peugeot are really back on form with this GTi model, the press have got it spot on with what they say, it's subtle enough to blend in but only people in the know, know what it is. They handle brilliant!
