Tried to start the 360CS this morning and it's stuck in first.

I never leave it in gear and turn it off but guy came to clean it last week and I guess he must have.

Battery is fully charged but will not go into neutral.
The sun is out but I am not. :-(

Any ideas would be greatly received.

Thanks
James

Assuming u are pressing the brake pedal before trying to place it in neutral or starting.
Try the battery cut off, and recycle the power, it might work.

Indeed, sometimes you have to press the brake pedal harder than normal.

As well as trying the master cut off, also try opening and closing the front and engine compartments.

Hopefully you'll catch the sun!

Test the brake pedal switch (are the lights coming on when you press the pedal).

Next, check the rear hatch contact switch (it's in the lock mechanism).

Have you tried reverse?

Otherwise you need to look in the TCU to see why it isn't starting. I see you're in kent - where are you? I'm going to be out sidcup/orpington way in the morning and could swing by.

Is the car on an incline?

I read somewhere the pressure on the selector is too great for the actuator to select neutral. Not sure if this is correct, but if it is on an incline then this could be the reason.

Glad to hear it is resolved - these problems are either very easy to fix or very difficult!
