Secret Car Undergoing Testing In Death Valley Anyone ID it ?

Went through Death Valley the other day - much more interesting & impressive than I thought it would be, when......................







Shortly after telling the kids that car manufacturers do hot weather testing in Death Valley, what do we come across.

No idea what car(s) it/they were but they were quick to get going when I took a couple of photo's.

I did have time to ask what the car was and they wouldn't say! when I said I was from the UK so it wouldn't mean anything to me, their reply was 'not necessarily'

Anyone have any idea ....?

At a guess it looks like something from GM, so a Chevy something-or-other is what I'd wager.

I'd guess at a new Chevrolet Volt. The wheels look similar to the current one.
