Reversing Light

Not important in the overall scheme of TVR driving, I know, but annoying when it stops working. I've got 12V across the bulb holder and the bulb is ok but no illumination when the 2 are put together. The meter shows that all is ok at the lamp assembly so I think somewhere between the gearbox switch & the light the continuity is breaking down under load - bad contact or broken cable or something. Problem is where? Anybody got any experience of this?

Check the switch on the gearbox, common fault apparently.

Mines buggered, just don't go backwards at night.

it's deffo the reverse switch on the box, don't buy from main dealer though, try intermoto..about 4 quid i think

That'll teach me to do smart arsed posts, went backwards at night scrapped the back under the boot, you can't see unless your lying down and looking under the car still gutted..
