Haha, yes. When I was selling cars we were told to do this when looking at a trade in to introduce it to the customer. If the customer said yes, we would reply " fantastic that means your car is worth an extra £....If they said no, we would say " shame because if it had been superguarded it would be worth £... more.
In fact its crap. Spend the money on a profesional detail after you pick the car up to get rid of all the swirls the dealers wash monkeys will have put in it when they "valet" the car.

I'm going to try that on the next main dealership car I have interest in, 'yeah yeah that's great but has it been Supaguarded????'.I be the answer is 'yes'

no no, the other way around.When they give you a trade in price, then tell them it is Supaguarded and wait for them to increase their offer.

I'll do it both ways- reveal the great asset that my car has been supaguarded then ask them if their car has and how much more it's worth due to the fantastic improvement it offers over a non-supaguard car.When they give you a trade in price, then tell them it is Supaguarded and wait for them to increase their offer.

My mate who works for VW hates selling this crap. It's snake oil. If you really must have it then spend £20-40 on a kit from FleaBay and <£10 on a spray can of Scotchguard for the interior.
There's a reason it's expensive: Valet monkey gets told to do it as part of PDI, Salesman gets a cut, Sales Manager gets a cut, DP gets a cut, Dealership gets a cut, Snake oil Salesman gets a cut, Snake Oil Sales Manager gets a cut, Snake Oil Company gets a cut.
About the only time he felt happy selling it was to someone who lived in a flat with no washing facilities, never washed their car more than twice a year, on the basis that "some" protection was better than nothing.
