Acid dipping wheels

Hello,

I'm about to get my wheels refurbed and was going down the acid dipping and powdercoating route. I know they have been refurbed before and I suspect they have been filled in places (it has been done well). This might be a stupid question, but will the dipping remove the filler as well as the coating?

Will remove any filler. Has to be done by someone who knows what they are doing. And aluminium alloys should not be grit blasted. Aqua blasting is better. See:-
