Having a chat today at work, and with prices for classic and rare Porsche 911's going up, we here talking about what else will gain in value over the next 12-24 months..

I came up with -

360 CS
430 Scud
MK2 Lotus Cortina (too late for the MK1)
Porsche 996 Turbo (not by much mind you)
Porsche 997 GT2 RS

I look forward to hearing yours........

Only rules, the car has to be under £150,000 now to buy.

Getting harder to find a good one, since it's a current object of my affections where I'm constantly browsing the classifieds.

Special edition classic Imprezas. Followed in a few years by turbo 2000's.

Surely S1 elise soon? They've been stable for ages.

BMW 1Ms are going up.

Can't imagine the Z3 M Coupe getting any cheaper, not decent examples anyway.

Lets hope so, I justify mine by saying its a rolling savings account :-)

Also i'll add the R107 SLs, already on the up but judging by the way the Pagodas have gone maybe more to go, also while I'm at it i'll add in the w123 and w124 Mercs, w123's seem to be popular with the 'stance' crowd, so the profile is being raised a bit, plus you can buy them for a few K.

I think the Sagaris will start selling for high £50k next year, rather than them just being advertised at that price.

And the 944 turbo.
Also the
944 S2 and 968 Club Sport.

All of these are genuinely affordable today will the good ones be that way in 10 years time? Doubtful.
