Anyone running Vredesteins on a Jag ?

Its that time again when I spend hours being incapable of making a decision on what to put on the front of my X308 XJR....

I have Pirellis on the back (P Zero Rosso) which will be replaced with something else later on.

I have had Toyo Proxes TR-1 up until now and still like them, but want to try something else.

Anyone had experience of the Vredestein tyres ?

I have Vredstein Ultrac Sessantas on the back of my X350 XJR and find them better than the more expensive Michelins on the front. Had them on a few thousand miles and they just get on with the job. Great grip wet and dry , dont seem very noisy.

I had Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas on my previous '08 XF and found they were substantially quieter than the original Dunlops. The rim protection is substantial and they lasted longer too, I'll be putting them on the 2012 XF I have now when it needs some.

Centrac Ultos (sp) on my XJ. Very quiet on most road surfaces, almost new so can't be sure about wear rates or performance. Proved difficult to get balanced and very prone to tempoary flat spotting. Not sure I'd recommend or buy again

Ultrac Sessantas on my 08 XKR, they work really well. Predictable and progressive approaching the limit, surprisingly good grip in the wet, today I discovered they even resist aquaplaning very well too. Only managed to (unintentionally) unsettle them once, also for the first time today - joining a dual carriageway from a junction with no sliproad, a bit of mud on the road and some very strong crosswinds, but recovered very quickly.

Yup - put them on my last 3 cars ; XK, XF and an Alfa Brera. Great tyres - Vred Ultras.
