Hi from new v8 vantage roadster owner

Hi All.

Well after 12 months or so of researching (lusting after) getting married, moving house and setting up a new business I now have some time and cash to myself which has enabled me to join the Aston Club ?. Wooo Hooo! V8 Vantage Roadster, Sportshift in meteorite silver.

So happy with the car and holding out and doing my research / car hunting! Grants definitive guide is a brilliant read. The level of detail was perfect for an OCD like myself. When it came to car hunting and what to look for and what to watch out for it was worth its weight in gold.

Had her just over a week and already been over in the isle of man for a long weekend where the roads were perfect for me to get acquainted to the car.

I’ve come from TVR ownership and very glad it doesn’t have that brutal "I'm about to kill you!" feel to it. It’s on another level in terms of drive, looks and luxury. It’s happy to tickle along at 30mph and sounds like sex up in the revs. So glad I didn’t get a 911. Top down fun for the rest of summer.
