Hi All.
The steering rack I have is in good nick, not a lot of play in the rack and the track rods are a bit rusty but other than that a good clean up and paint and it should be ok to go back on. Question is has any body put a high ratio quick rack on a S, i.e. 2.2 turns lock to lock, mine is 2.9 ish lock to lock.
I sent a email to Kiley Clinton re this and still waiting for them to come back.

Not sure why you would want to "quick rack" but on the theory it is Chevette based this might do it but strangley it doesn't mention how many turns lock to lock?

Hi Mike, I saw that last week,, I was thinking for track days, My rack is quite good with only the gaitors to replace, do you know where to get them from?

I bought "generic" fit anything gaiters from local motor factors.

I'd be inclined to see how you get on with standard rack before splashing out on a "quickie" smile

I've got a 2.10 turn lock to lock hydraulic rack from an early Chimaera which is surplus to requirements. Fairly certain it will fit an 'S'. Just refurbed by Kiley Clinton.
