Nah....this is my car...!
www.s2-audi.co.uk/articles/fast_lane_93.htm

And yup, wander over to the S2 forum pretty frequently...

However, car needs some TLC to get it back to how it 'should be'. Mechanically it is A1. Bodywork is C- !

Cheers

Two without roof rails in country...I don't believe it! In the link, the red car is a coupe, so that don't count...and the silver is also a left hooker...

On the other forum I am also 'Minnsy'. However I don't post a great deal!

I would love to spend an arm and a leg on the car (especially the appearence) but just cannot justify it at the moment! Used every day - but only to station and back. It has a few upgrades, and Mr Nugent - S2Central (I used to work with him) replaced all the underneath bits (technical stuff that), and my local garage for servicing is QST (Kim Collins) who always takes the micky out of the appearence, but are always impressed with how well it drives. Can't see myself selling it...as cannot justify a porker or TVR which just would not get used at all (certainly not everyday, leaving in station car park!).

Cheers

Say hello to Paul when next you meet him - he and I used to "hang out" on the ur-S forums (we were about the only Brits there) before he got S2 Central going.

Actually what's really impressive about that vid is the way the S4s can keep up with the S1 (more or less ) without any drama.

Ooops! That's what you get for trying to be clever...

Yeah they are fantastic cars, mine has an AMD Chip on it and de cat apart from that and the BBS's and Billy's its standard. It will keep up with almost anything unless it is really quick.

Mine is the complete opposite to yours and is garaged and only driven at the weekend and not too much in the winter. I have spent a small fortune keeping it near to perfect as possible since I bought it in January and as a result cannot see myself ever selling it either.

I met Paul at one of the recent S2Forum meets and yes he is a top chap and rally enthusisastic for all things Quattro or "S"

Cheers,

Steve.
