This may have been done before. I'd like some suggestions on stuff I can eat on the way to work for breakfast: I'm always in a rush (that isn't going to change) so generally end up stopping off en route to get a coffee and a sandwich, but that gets expensive. What could I have in the fridge to take with me that will fill me up?

I'm old fashioned and like eggs/bacon/sausage/bread in the morning.

Cheers.

Stick it all in a tortilla, wrap in foil and eat like a burrito!

This.

We make breakfast burritos. Freeze and reheat.

I hate bread that's even remotely stale in a sandwich - as home-made almost invariably are if you live alone and don't get through a loaf particularly quickly.

My answer to this issue is to buy fresh bread and freeze it immediately. Then, the night before, take out as many frozen slices as you need, butter and fill these, and store in a Lock 'n' Lock box in the fridge overnight.

Come morning, these will be defrosted, and perfect. A few Nespressos in a flask makes a 'proper' coffee that will stay hot for hours, at a fraction of the cost of a Starbucks.

Greggs bacon and sausage bap with a coffee £2.

Hardly worth bothering with making your own stuff.

The Greggs breakfast is unbelievably good. Trouble is, going to Greggs in the morning adds 10 minutes to my journey. Some good suggestions anyway, cheers.

Sausage and bacon bacon burrito made the night before quick warm up and so e sauce and you're on your way.

I've plenty of time in the morning and usually have cereal followed by something else just before I leave and find anything in a wrap is good and it helps that I can eat it on the move. Had smoked salmon and scrambled egg topped with cheese today. Was great!

Overnight oats are a good breakfast that can just be grabbed out for the fridge, but obviously lose marks for lack of bacon.
