Does anyone know where I could find a rear 9x16 930 turbo/super sport Fuchs wheel for sale? A good friend of mine has had one ruined by a refurb company and as such we need to source another. But I can't seem to find one. Even Paul Stevens has no idea at the mo

Yeah that's the thing. We found a set for 2600 on ebay but that's all. A pair is expected. But a whole set? It was only in for a refurb on one wheel as he caught the edge slightly

'Ruined' by a third party? If so, presumably they have insurance. They can pay for new from an OPC or a set of used and thrash it out with their insurers.

The wheel could perhaps be saved by fuchs.

I believe they offer a refurb service

Also suggest looking on eBay Germany

www.ebay.de

I've got stuff from there before - most sellers understand English if you email them and will ship to the UK

The Fuchs website doesn't show refurbishment prices, nor prices for new 16" wheels but it does show new 18's at £2265+VAT (E699 10" rear and E649 8" front inc 19% VAT), with 19's quite a bit dearer (E999 and E949), so I'd at least get them to quote for the size(s) you need.

BTW, can anyone tell me how to type a Euro symbol properly? smile

Assuming you're on a PC, press the 'Alt Gr' key to the right of the spacebar and press 4 (at the top of the keyboard) at the same time.

Ctrl+Alt+4 should also work.

Suggest also calling some of the specialists who like Nick Moss (Early 911), Tuthills, Autofarm who may have a single 9x16" Fuch tucked away. I'd also post on ImpactBumpers.com and DDK for the same reason.

You might try these people. They supplied me with two Fuchs rear wheels for an '89 Supersport a few years back.

Try Braid in Italy - their BZ wheel is a good quality replica, not the rubbish supplied by others. They are used in competition, with decent drivers, so MUST be up to the job. Avoid the US based split rim jobs (excuse the crudity there..) they are crap.
