ML420 common problems, faults

Hi all,

I'm hoping to go out and look at a few ML420s in the next few weeks work permitting and wanted to hear of any past owners or those in the know about things to look for.

I've driven 1 without the paddles and it wasn't that nice, kicking down too much and generally not suiting the character of the engine. It also had steel suspension and the ride was not acceptable for what I want it for.

The 320 isn't what i'm after.

So, any hints or tips?
