Hi one and all, this has probably be done but it looks like we need a new battery on our 04 DB9. Any comments on which make etc. Currently has a Varta 90 Ah RC170 680 amp with a number 2683-10655-AA on it. Any fitting comments also welcome, it looks like the ally sheet round it has to come out first and are there any nasty surprises electrically, ie is it ok to just disconnect and fit new one and reconnect. Many thanks.

Mmmm have found some old comments and I'm now concerned about the windows and seats will need resetting ! I have no idea where to start on that problem if it shows its head. It seems daft to have to take it to the dealer (if I could start it) just to change a battery. .
Yes they will need resetting. Its simple though - look in the FAQ'sfuzzy01 said:

Just check out the FAQ on this site, all quite straight forward. Check position of battery clamping strip/bracket at the bottom of the battery and remove.
Not sure you actually have to do the seat reset if you do not have memory seats.
I jumped in with both feet and purchased the new Duracell AGM Gel battery for my DB9. Awesome battery that will never leak and can take a full discharge without damage.
Easy 15 minute job to change and as you only do it every 5+ years, I bought the best.
If you plug a battery saver in the cigar lighter in the trunk that is always live, you will not lose any memories on the car either.
