Hi guys,
I can hear the motor clicking and trying turn but doesnt move the window. Taken of the door trim, is there anyway to take the inner door skin off to give easier access to the motor, it seems to be all one with the door itself.
any tips on getting the motor and mechanism out to refurb?
Or any simple fix?
Cheers guys

I refurbed mine a month back. With the door card removed I could get at the motor fixing bolts and also unbolted the window slider bottom bracket. I wedged the glass up and managed to get the whole motor assembly and arm out through the door without any issues. I found the gear wheel was covered in crap and tar like substance so gave it all a thorough clean up, re-greased it, put it back together and all is good.

Cheers. I've sprayed Wurths SaBesto all around as much as i can. Wind and rain stopped play today so i'll try tomorrow or probably Wed. I'll probably completely refurb while i'm at it.

Hi mate...They might be worth replacing while you are at it..Although the rover ones from grimmers might need a slight modification so that the runner wheels don't keep popping out out the runner every time you hit a bump in the road.

You could get someone to weld a piece of flat metal just slightly over the opening....Ziga
