A Class (w168) steering rack

Any body had a go at changing the steering rack in a A140, has been suggested that one needs to drop the front sub-frame to get it out. Have done most jobs, but not amused if this is true, as it will be the third rack on a car, it may be old, but has been the second car and has 41,000 miles on the clock.
