Not mad at all, trade a old E46 coupe based on a rep mobile for a brand new carbon tubbed, rear engine,
rear wheel drive Alfa.

If only Alfa could shoe horn a V6 into it.

Depends what you want from it...

Financially, you'd probably be worse off with the 4C, it'll depreciate, albeit very slowly (I'd have thought....)

The CSL will only go up.

If you want a more modern, techno-fest the 4C will be the way to go, technologically street ahead of the CSL.

Two very nice cars. Tough (but enviable) position to be in!

Totally agree.

Also maybe the CSL is the better steer? Not sure, but certainly the better engine.

It's a big decision. I'd at least hire the Alfa for a week to seek if it tickles you. If it doesn't you'll be back on here with your part-ex valuation whilst sobbing into your cornflakes.

If you absolutely have a 4C itch that needs to be scratched then I’d at least wait for Alfa to come out with a new edition that has a bit more "oomph".
I’m sure that will come eventually and they will hopefully fix a couple of the other most criticised points such as that steering wheel and the way the engine delivers its power.

Not on your nelly. Only real place to go from the CSL is to something in a similar style IMO (911 GT2 or GT3, CLK Black, etc). You know you'll miss it too much otherwise
