The problem is, forecourt prices are ridiculously high & part-ex values are ridiculously low. The market is very small & the traders have it sown up. Very often, they won't buy stock in & will only sell on an SOR basis with huge commission. Mileage is everything to traders & buyers, despite these being commercial base vehicles which are aimed at touring. Furthermore, buyers tend to be fussy, risk averse & reluctant to buy privately. Hiring is expensive, but often a better route to take IMO, pound for pound.
