Removable silencers

Does anyone know where I can get some removable/trackday silencers apart from ACT. ACT only seem to do the ones which clamp on and stick out loads, opposed to some I've seen which slip into the original pipes.

I would give them a call first - you need to know a) how much they will reduce the noise and b) how they are fixed in place.

I think they came from TVR Monster originally. They seem to be having problems with their web site though.

I'd be interested to know if you can run both the inserts and the bolt on cans, and if it makes a further noise reduction?
I won't be going to Bedford again with my present set-up, I only got on track last time because Petrol Ted rocked up immediately after me and failed at the same dBs as me. As he was in a GT3 Dyson (that's what it sounded like) the noise testers were so amazed they let us both through.
And there are other tracks with 99-101 dB limits that i'd like to drive too....same problem. I cannot rely on getting away with (cough) "underestimating" my rev limit at every track.

the guy from eBay says his customers have reported normally about 3db reduction but he's seen 4-5 on some louder cars?
Might just try it and see

At Combe he tried both and failed so tried both together and had a higher reading??????

yeah he's not too far away from me but I'm impatient like to buy things.
Plus mines not on the road yet and it's pissing the neighbours off having it running on the drive at the moment
