How much to replace a front spoiler please?

Im looking possibly to buy a Tuscan 2001 speed six with a cracked front spoiler - any ideas to budget on the cost to replace and spray with Chameleon blue please? I have sent an enquiry to TVR Bodyshop, but just need to know a ball park asap. Ta v mucho, Martin

What do you mean by the front spoiler? Do you mean the lip spoiler? They're not going to be standard on a 2001 Tusc (or any) unless it's a Tuscan S.

If it *is* the lip spoiler, it'll probably be an aftermarket job. In which case they're black, not body-coloured (generally), and won't set you back more than a couple of hundred quid at most. I believe it's Fiberon that make them (outside of the factory). The factory won't send you one unless you do have an "S" (and can prove it), but a friendly dealer might be able to help. I'd go with the 3rd party option, mind. Oh, and even if you do get it replaced, first speed bump you come up against, and you'll smack it again!

If you're not talking about the lip-spoiler, then I've no idea...

Thanks for the reply, but didnt buy the car with the problem in the end because it was withdrawn from sale!! Hopefully I wont have to ask the question again with the car Tuscan i have just bought!!

Congratulations.

Welcome to the club - just remember to take it easy at first; that's a lot of unaided power going through the rear wheels on greasy roads.

Would suggest testing the grip on an abandoned car park/circuit at first to get the measure of it...

Yep lots of horses and only small pedals - the car has bene bought for my wife as xmas pressie but i reckon we could be fighting over the keys!! Driver training might be a good idea as well.
