Freezing Gels

Just out of interest really... Has anyone frozen a gel? Does it go like a sugary Calippo?

There might be too much sugar for it to freeze. How did your experiment go?

If you freeze them how do you get them out of the pack, normally the tear off is narrower than the body of the pack surely?

Well, I've frozen a High5 Isogel and it's solid. Haven't tried to eat it yet though.

Going to cut the wide end off, not use the tear-off

This is going to be interesting. One of a few things could happen:

The gel turns into an icepop and as you squeeze the bottom, the frozen contents fly out into the road
The gel melts in your pocket and drips down your arse crack
You manage to eat the gel but it gives you the schitts

Surely that defeats the object of having the gel in the first place, I'm not sure I'm keen on relaxing on the balcony licking an energy gel, I think I'll stick to a Magnum instead
