Just popped on to waste some time looking at cars and I'm presented with this slow, unresponsive java-ish search function.

Why oh why does it keep changing? Have you even tried it on any other browser? FF31.0 doesn't work with it, nor does IE11. I suppose your copy of IE7 is ok?

...Wait, IE has just started working, after it took 3 minutes to load the massive fking advert first.

ETA: Yes, I fked up the title.

Works fine for me in Chrome, FF31 and IE10 . What problem were you having in FF

Took 30+ seconds to load the "makes and models" drop downs. Then every drop down is slow with this need design/formatting.

In FF31, if I click "make" it highlights it, but doesn't produce a drop down list.

Very odd. Took 8 seconds to load for me (according to firebug) and most of that was a google ad. If I select a make then it updates the list of models correctly.

Are you running any addons in Firefox?

I'll leave this one for the PH Techies ..

You could just scroll down to the A-Z listing and use that instead?

We will have a look to see if we can replicate this issue here at PH Towers.

Our current list of browsers for testing all releases are:
  • Chrome 35 (PC), 25 (Mac)
  • Firefox 31
  • Safari 7
  • IE 11,10,9,8
In the meantime you could use this page for a quick route in http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/a...
