Hi Peeps...Spoke to Auto-slags this morning as they told me last week that they have located a screen and would be there this week..Guess what...They made a mistake...Its on back order..I told them its my everyday car and i need it done..I have an MOT coming up next month and i want to go to a couple of events this month..They can't give me any time scale as when it will be with them...What a load of bullst!!!.....Ziga

It's like any other big organisation. No one knows what's going on and no one seems to care. What you see is what you get. In your case it's what you don't see you don't get.

Get back on at your insurance company. Explain your unhappiness and steer them in the direction of the screen you found. Hopefully they might pay for it?

I wish that was the case mate...They only work with National windscreens and Auto-glass who both cannot get the glass...They offered me £50 back if i paid for it myself...Which still means paying around £450....I will call them tomorrow and explain the latest cock up to see what they have to say...Cheers...Ziga

You've done the research, you know where you can get it repaired. Give the details of the company you found to the ins co and see where it goes from there. You're not paying for it yourself, you're just giving them details of where they can have it repaired.

They can't just fob you off with a £50 gratuity, especially since they've failed to repair twice!
