BCA multi vendor

Have bought a few cars from auction in the past but normally the vendor has been finance houses or big dealer groups. Now looking at a car at a BCA auction, and the lot is labelled as 'multi vendor'. Am concerned these could be either private entries or problem cars from small dealers. Any car dealer sorts on here care to advise? Are these to be avoided at all costs or treated like any other auction purchase i.e just tread carefully and poke around as much as possible before it goes through the hall?

I think of multi vendor as the bin... either rubbish or cleaned up trade entries there to make a profit. Ultimately, listen to auctioneer he may give a clue to the vendor, ie I have bought from these sections when it is from direct company entry and they have owned from new / if executive trustee entry etc etc. But for the most part it is rubbish.
