Fellow Tamora drivers,
Having read many Cerbera mails about performance/sound upgrades with decat/sports exhaust I am intrigued to know if there is anything in the (pun) pipeline for Speed Six in particular on the Tamora?
Lance - how is your ally seatbelt protector going? I am very interested.
By the way I keep having fault 17 oil temp sensor and air temp sensor warning on start up which I have to cancel. Anyone had this?

hi. done some enginering sketeches, talking to local metal bashers. Small problem in that the passenger side has less room on top of the b-pillar so may attach to side, however need to have a look what's behind there first. Quick bodge in the meantime is a small block of wood just higher than the belt feeder stuck to the b-pillar top with velcro. Works perfectly but looks awful!
Not had your sensor fault (yet).
Getting increasingly frustrated with wind noise around drivers A-pillar, going to push TVR for an official window seal mod for the winter. the current set up, even when window angle is adjusted, is frankly kit-car appalling.

Lance, put me down for a couple of seat belt covers as well! Grigio, Ive not had your problem either - must be a faulty sensor.

Not had oil or air temp sensor but get fuel sensor fairly regularily ( thats not low fuel by the way ). Anyone else getting this ?

My Tamora is in next week for new door control unit to stop the drivers side opening on the move. Also finally getting the close ratio gearbox fitted

Will mention all the recent mods to see if I can get them retrofitted as well - especially the alloy bits

Not had an oil pressure error yet, but occasionally the change up lights seem to take on a mind of their own and flash at random, (nothing to do with the revs as I'm still running it in!).

Definitely interested in the seat belt modifications. Mentioned it to Heath (TVR mechanic) at the Track Day on Tuesday who seemed thoughtfull when I told him what we wanted?
Haven't had the warning messages you get but do get an 'Oil Pressure Warning' every time I start the car. Cancels itself though almost immediately.
Still get the problem of the Digital Display not coming on every time I start the iginition as well!
Hasn't Flasher been looking into a Sports Exhaust?
Cheers...... Andrew

Andrew,
I get the low oil pressure warning as well on startup for 2 or 3 seconds.
My dash display also fails to appear on many start ups only two of the change up lights come on/bleep when this happens.
Engine is really beginning to loosen up now at ca. 2400 miles. Great!
A few more pops and bangs and throttle response etc from a decat/sports exhaust would still be interesting until an S Version comes out and I sell my own body organs to lay my hands on the dosh for one!

Doh! When I saw this post, thought the talk would be about Lambrettas.

Contact Jools (by email), cos he is thinking about doing something in the way of a sports exhaust, but not sure what the market reaction would be. I wish my Tamora popped and banged like a Cerb 4.5.

Yup they have started to get delivery at the factory. Don't know what the supply chain is like though.

Frostie, tell me more. How much does it cost? How much is the performance improved?
Cheers.... Andrew

I did have an electrical short when the blower was switched on which caused 3 to 4 sensors to report faults; the 1st one 4 miles after delivery - PDI ??. Fixed at 1000 mile service; no recurrence since then.

Andrew

Close ratio box was a £1530 option. Will report on how it changes the cars characteristics once fitted and I have driven a few miles with it.
